There's so many women to get inspiration and advice from that have made an impact in my own life, both "regular" women and what others might call celebrities. You can find some of them featured in our Her Story section on this website and more will continued to be featured with their stories and tips for helping others.

In addition to amazing women out there to learn from, there are also amazing men that support women and have their own unique story and insight to share that can also help you grow as a person and as a business owner. Here you will find list of five of those men that have also made such a positive impact in my own life and I hope you can check them out out to learn something from them as well!

Grant Cardone

Who He Is:

His website describes him as a New York Times Best Selling Author, The #1 Sales Trainer in the World, and an internationally renowned speaker on leadership, real estate investing, entrepreneurship, social media and finance.

What I Like About Him:

This man has changed my life. It sounds intense and over the top, but its absolutely true. I started listening to his podcast, The Cardone Zone, about 4 years ago and have since gotten into many of his books, trainings and articles. And it’s all changed the way I looked at life around money, goal setting, real estate and even relationships.

One of the many quotes of his that have stuck with me is, “The single biggest financial mistake I’ve made was not thinking big enough. I encourage you to go for more than a million. There is no shortage of money on this planet, only a shortage of people thinking big enough.

His Latest:

He just shared a blog yesterday, called, How to Become a Millionaire that echoes one of his big themes that he teaches about – money mindset and the lack of thinking big and making our goals too small.

Lewis Howes

Who He Is:

On his website he lets his audience know that, “I’m a firm believer that living in a beautiful state, the journey you experience, and the lives you impact is more important than what you do or what you have accumulated. I got a taste of being a pro athlete for a short amount of time. And I realized early on that when I commit to my vision and pursue it with 100% passion… anything is possible.

Living my ideal lifestyle is far more important to me than working on something I don’t fully love just to survive life and then die.

Now I’m committed to impacting 100 million lives. I teach people how to pursue the dream that burns inside them and how to earn a full time income while making an impact on the world and others.”

What I Like About Him:

His story could be any of our stories.  His world came crashing down on him when the only thing in the  world he felt like he was good ended – an injury wiped out his professional football dreams forever and he found himself broke, lost and living on his sister’s couch.

Fast forward to now and he’s a Best Selling author, host of a wildly successful podcast, The School of Greatness, donates  his time and money to meaningful causes, and is passionate about helping other live their fullest lives.

Books: School of Greatness and The Masks of Masculinity (even though this might not directly speak to you, I read it and found it very interesting as a thought about the men in my life both romantic and non-romantic like my dad and brother and how to better relate and communicate with them.)

Gary Vaynerchuck

Who He Is:

Investor (think Uber, Twitter, Facebook), Serial Entrepreneur, 5X NYT Best Selling Author and Current CEO of Vayner X – this is the short list – check out his website for the back story of how it all got start with his dad’s wine business which is super interesting and inspiring

What I Like About Him:

His passion and energy are contagious. You will feel like you can walk through a brick wall after listening to one of his speeches or podcasts. He’s also super real and honest and cusses like a sailor with his New York accent. That doesn’t work for everyone, so it could be a turn off, but there’s no lack of passion or caring.  He really does want to help people.

He’s also a genius in all things sales and marketing and has more than one golden nugget you can take back to your own business. Like his “$1.80 Instagram Strategy.”

Hal Elrod

Who He Is:

He’s described on his website as someone who’s on a mission to elevate the consciousness of humanity, one morning at a time. As one of the highest rated keynote speakers in America, creator of one of the fastest growing and most engaged online communities in existence and author of one of the highest rated, best-selling books in the world, The Miracle Morning—which has been translated into 27 languages, has over 2,000 five-star Amazon reviews and is practiced daily by over 500,000 people in 70+ countries—he is doing exactly that.

What I Like About Him:

His Miracle Morning Book for Salespeople has also been one of those things that’s changed my life for the better.  The mindset shift he talks about opened by eyes when I first read it almost 5 years ago and the 5 things he recommends doing every morning are things I still work to do at some point every day.

Ed Mylett

Who He Is:

His Instagram bio describes him as an entrepreneur and fitness addict, a global keynote speaker, Top 50 Wealthiest Under 50 and peak performance expert.

What I Like About Him:

I learned about Ed on a podcast of Grant Cardone and was impressed with his energy, positivity and how hard he worked to get to where he was, so when I went to check him out more I knew he was a solid guy.  Otherwise, at first he might have come across as someone that shows off both his money and how much he can lift at the gym, but if you still with him you’ll see that he really is such a motivating and uplifting person. And to me all the things he might “show off” just gives you a better idea of what’s possible for yourself.

His Latest:

He recently shared a post about being in a slump and it’s something that even happens to give occasionally.  One tip he had for getting out of it was this:

“Immediately focus on your personal development and growth and begin to read the right books, and listen to the right content again…And throw yourself into goalsetting and vision stretching and recalibrate and recommit and re-focus on your vision and reasons.”
